> KIDS BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU
The Kids BJJ program allows for the students to build awareness, confidence and self-discipline while in a safe and friendly environment. As BJJ is a martial art that relies on leverage and balance to gain position, it is well suited to kids of all sizes and ages. BJJ encourages kids to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of varying body types, and how to use their particular strengths to their advantage. The kids will learn various techniques and how to use them properly, safely and effectively. Classes also include controlled sparring there they will practice their moves with each other under the careful supervision of the instructor. Great for all ages and fitness levels; have your kids train with a world renowned BJJ athlete.
> BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU
We have over 150 students from all walks of life with many intentions, such as simply learning a martial art as a hobby, getting in great shape, or training to compete in various sport grappling tournaments (Gi and No Gi). Nowhere else will you find such a large team of experienced practitioners, some of which have been training with Rodrigo for over 10 years! We are simply THE most experienced Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy in Winnipeg.
Classes will generally consist of a warm-up session and/or conditioning, learning new techniques, drilling exercises, and sparring as time permits. You will find yourself not only pushing your body, but also your mind to the extreme as you learn the intricate details to be effective.
> MMA
MMA combines, primarily, the disciplines of Kickboxing, Judo, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The MMA program offers high level training in striking; take-downs; and No Gi grappling and submission techniques. The program has a wide range of students which offers sparing partners at all experience levels and provides a positive environment for students to improve their fitness and skill levels. The top quality facility, including Olympic quality floor and mats; thai pads; kick shields; punching pads; and more, ensures for a safe, clean training environment. The program offers high level training whether you are pursuing a career in professional MMA or just looking to be in top physical shape.
> CARDIO KICKBOXING
Cardio Kickboxing introduces basic punching and kicking techniques while focusing on circuit training; high energy cardio drills; and muscular endurance exercises. Whether you are interested in weight loss, increased strength, or greater physical endurance, the Cardio Kickboxing program guarantees a higher level of fitness and self-confidence. The classes have a wide range of students, from beginners to professional MMA athletes, providing a positive environment for students to increase their fitness and skill levels. The top quality facility, including Olympic quality floor and mats; thai pads; kick shields; punching pads; and more, ensures for a safe, clean training environment for both the professional athlete and enthusiast alike.
